Eurostar has announced it will start a direct service between London St Pancras and Amsterdam Centraal on 4 April. Trains will also run between London and Rotterdam following Eurostar’s expansion into the Netherlands.
For the initial period, the Eurostar service will only run direct one-way, from London to the Dutch cities: Amsterdam and Rotterdam. On the return journey will connect through Brussels where passport controls and security screening will be carried out. It is expected the direct service for returned journey will be in place by the end of 2019.
